SUMMARY:2024 EmPOWER Youth Summit
DESCRIPTION:An Event to Empower Student Advocates\nThe EmPOWER Youth Summit brings high school students together for a day of hope-filled connections and education on mental wellness\, self-care and other positive topics — with the goal that students leave feeling better equipped to advocate for themselves and others. \nPrevious summits have drawn students from across the Omaha Metro to learn from young speakers\, including trauma survivors\, mental health advocates and more. \nMeet Our 2024 Keynotes \nThis event is free to all schools and attendees. The summit is funded by The Kim Foundation and many generous community sponsors (listed below). Lunch\, snacks\, and an event t-shirt are included! \nRegistration\nAll Metro Area high schools are invited to bring up to 20 students to the summit along with at least two school chaperones. Student attendees must be registered by their schools. Registration has closed. \nNote: We have a specific EmPOWER Youth Summit parental permission form that will need to be completed for each student who attends. School chaperones will turn in the signed forms upon arrival on November 14th. Click here for EmPOWER Youth Summit Parent Permission Form\nStudents who arrive without a signed permission slip will not be allowed to participate. \nSponsorships & Vendor Booths\nInterested in sponsoring or having a vendor booth at the EmPOWER Youth summit?
