SUMMARY:Sticker Contest
DESCRIPTION:In honor of Suicide Prevention Month\, The Kim Foundation is sponsoring a Suicide Prevention Sticker Design Contest! We are looking for a creative and unique sticker design\, specifically aimed at teens\, to encourage hope\, perseverance\, self-love\, and self-worth. \nGuidelines & Instructions\nEligibility: All high school students (grades 9-12) from the Omaha Metro and surrounding towns \nDeadline: All entries must be received by 11 p.m. on Monday\, September 30\, 2025 \nRequirements: Students are invited to submit an original sticker design that focuses on suicide prevention in teens. The design and any accompanying wording should be positive in nature and use appropriate language. The sticker can be in English or Spanish (or both!). The judges reserve the right to disqualify a student’s entry if it is deemed inappropriate\, conveys a negative message\, or if the art has been copied from another individual. Each entry must include a Parental Consent & Media Release Form (see link below) from The Kim Foundation that has been signed by the applicant’s legal guardian. Only one design per student will be accepted. \nDesign Guidelines: Stickers can be custom die cut shapes\, circles\, squares\, etc. Student artists should include information on the shape of the sticker in their design submission. Sticker dimensions should not exceed 3” x 3”. No photographs will be considered. \nNotification of Winner: The winner of the chosen sticker design will be notified by October 15\, 2025. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card\, in addition to a pack of 50 stickers to give to friends and family. The winner and their design will be featured on our social media platforms and in our October 30th Newsletter. In addition to his volunteer activities\, he is the Senior Consultant for Campbell and Associates Consulting where he consults with communities on Active Postvention efforts and Forensic Suicidology cases. \nDuring his more than forty years of working with those bereaved by suicide he introduced his Active Postvention Model (APM) in 1997 it is most commonly known as the LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors). He is a past-president of the American Association of Suicidology\, a recipient of both national and international awards for his contributions to this field. \nDr. Campbell is also a veteran and is most proud to have been a consultant and contributor to the TAPS program for military family members who attend the survivor seminars and National programs for the past fifteen years. Chris brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the corporate world\, known for his warmth\, humor\, and powerful ability to connect with audiences. Additionally\, he is a Bible teacher and has served as an associate pastor. \nThings changed in August 2012 when Robbie lost his stepson\, Drey\, to suicide. Since then\, he has helped his wife\, Denise Meine-Graham\, start LOSS Community Services in 2014 to bring hope to others who have experienced such a tragedy. LOSS is a charitable nonprofit that provides support for suicide loss survivors and offers suicide prevention education. \nRobbie served as a Postvention Coordinator\, addressing the marketing and technology needs of LOSS Community Services until 2022. He left LOSS and now collaborates full-time with his wife as a Suicide Postvention Consultant\, assisting other communities and states in establishing postvention services. \nHe is a certified QPR (Question\, Persuade\, Refer) Gatekeeper trainer\, a certified CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means) trainer\, and a How to Tell Your Story trainer. Robbie earned his Death & Grief Studies Certification from the Center for Loss & Life Transition with Dr. Alan Wolfelt. And\, he has completed both The Link Support Group Facilitator Training and the AFSP Support Group training. Robbie lives in Columbus\, Ohio\, with Denise\, their two dogs\, and a cat. \n  \n \nIn 2010\, Jeff Dill founded Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance (FBHA) and began holding workshops to educate firefighters\, dispatchers & EMS members about behavioral health awareness\, moral injury and suicide prevention. FBHA also began tracking and validating data on FF\, EMS and dispatcher suicides across the United States \nJeff holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling\, is a retired Fire Captain at Palatine Rural Fire Protection District in Inverness\, Illinois. DESCRIPTION:The EmPOWER Youth Summit brings together high school students from across the Omaha Metro for a day focused on mental wellness\, resilience\, and hope. What began as a fun creative outlet quickly turned into something much greater—a movement that has touched the lives of millions of teachers who needed a reminder that they are seen\, valued\, and not alone in their struggles.
