In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, The Kim Foundation is sponsoring a Suicide Prevention Sticker Design Contest! We are looking for a creative and unique sticker design, specifically aimed at teens, to encourage hope, perseverance, self-love, and self-worth.
Guidelines & Instructions
Eligibility: All high school students (grades 9-12) from the Omaha Metro and surrounding towns
Deadline: All entries must be received by 11 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2024
Requirements: Students are invited to submit an original sticker design that focuses on suicide prevention in teens. The design and any accompanying wording should be positive in nature and use appropriate language. The judges reserve the right to disqualify a student’s entry if it is deemed inappropriate, conveys a negative message, or if the art has been copied from another individual. Each entry must include a Parental Consent & Media Release Form (see link below) from The Kim Foundation that has been signed by the applicant’s legal guardian. Only one design per student will be accepted.
Design Guidelines: Stickers can be custom die cut shapes, circles, squares, etc. Student artists should include information on the shape of the sticker in their design submission. Sticker dimensions should not exceed 3” x 3”. No photographs will be considered.
Notification of Winner: The winner of the chosen sticker design will be notified by October 16, 2023. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card, in addition to a pack of 50 stickers to give to friends and family. The winner and their design will be featured on our social media platforms and in our October 30th Newsletter. Additionally, The Kim Foundation will provide these stickers for free at various events around the Metro area.
How to Enter Contest:
- All entries must be submitted via email to info@thekimfoundation.org by 11 p.m. September 30th
- Designs must be attached in either JPG or PNG format.
- All entries must include:
- Student Name (first and last) and student email address
- School and current grade level
- Name and email address of legal guardian
- Signed Parental Consent & Media Release Form
