Kerri Armstrong is the Director of Operations at The Kim Foundation, where she has been instrumental in ensuring seamless day-to-day functions since 2023. Her leadership optimizes productivity, performance, and overall efficiency within the organization. She is deeply involved in suicide postvention efforts with operations of the Metro Area LOSS Team, leading the LOSS Advisory Board, as well as co-chairing the Nebraska State LOSS Team Coalition. Kerri also manages our volunteer program.

First a native of Fremont, Kerri then went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, and Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She spent nearly two decades working in Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice in various direct care, case management, and oversight positions. Additionally, she also has experience in business office management within the residential and commercial development field. Having always been passionate about helping others, Kerri is dedicated to raising mental health awareness, advocating for suicide prevention, and providing individuals vital resources and connecting them to therapeutic services.

Outside of work, Kerri enjoys spending time with her family, family pets Vinny and Josie, and cheering on her niece during her band, show choir, and theatrical performances and competitions, as well as her nephew when he is playing various sports.
