The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of teenagers and young adults who care about the mental health of their peers and want to raise their voices that mental health matters! The group will meet around town on a monthly basis to gather for a fun activity or service project and discuss the efforts surrounding suicide prevention and mental health initiatives geared towards youth. They’ll also lend a helping hand in planning our upcoming events or initiatives. Meetings can also be used for Community Service Hours if needed.

Join the Youth Advisory Council because….

  • You want to try new things
  • You want to be a mental health leader in your school or community
  • You want to make a difference

Our first meeting took place at Fowling Warehouse on December 4th from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. If you weren’t able to attend, no worries! We would still love for you to join! More info coming soon on 2025 meetings!
