Meet Our New Outreach Coordinator!

Hello! My name is Jill Haupts and I am the new Outreach Coordinator for The Kim Foundation. I am excited to be coordinating The Kim Foundation event logistics, representing The Kim Foundation at community booths, doing presentations, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, as well as other miscellaneous tasks in this role.

I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services in 2016. After graduation my first job out of college was in the mental health field, providing care coordination for adults with a mental health diagnosis in Des Moines, Iowa. I really enjoyed this role and working hands on with connecting clients to the proper resources, but I decided I wanted to do more on the development side of a nonprofit. Through my role in fundraising, I planned internal campaigns, coordinated a Holiday Giving Program, recruited volunteers, connected with community members about the organization’s services, and facilitated the in-kind donation procedures for a nonprofit in Des Moines. I recently moved to Omaha from Des Moines in January, and I am excited to be apart of The Kim Foundation Team!

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and trying new restaurants. I am excited to be in Omaha, and to explore my new city!

Jill Haupts is the Outreach Coordinator at The Kim Foundation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University in 2016. Jill joined the Kim Foundation in January coming from Des Moines, Iowa. Her previous experience includes volunteer recruitment and fundraising, as well as experience coordinating services and providing resources to adults who have a mental health diagnosis. Jill’s role in the foundation is coordinating event logistics, presenting and attending community fairs, as well as volunteer coordination and recruitment. She enjoys working in the nonprofit field and has a passion for advocacy and helping others.
