The Annual National LOSS Team Conference comes to Omaha in 2025. Presented by The Kim Foundation, this conference is for LOSS Team Members, Survivors of Suicide, Law Enforcement Representatives, Prevention Specialists, Clinicians, Faith – Based Professionals, Coroners and Postvention-Focused Businesses and Organizations alongside anyone with an interest in enhancing the healing of those impacted by suicide from around the country!

Meet the Keynotes

Dr. Frank Campbell is the Executive Director Emeritus of the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, where he serves as founder and faculty member of the National Suicidology Training Center (NSTC). He is also a volunteer Assistant Coroner in East Baton Rouge Parish. In addition to his volunteer activities, he is the Senior Consultant for Campbell and Associates Consulting where he consults with communities on Active Postvention efforts and Forensic Suicidology cases.

During his more than forty years of working with those bereaved by suicide he introduced his Active Postvention Model (APM) in 1997 it is most commonly known as the LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors). His work with survivors and victims of trauma has been featured in three discovery channel documentaries, professional journals and book chapters. He is a past-president of the American Association of Suicidology, a recipient of both national and international awards for his contributions to this field.

Dr. Campbell is also a veteran and is most proud to have been a consultant and contributor to the TAPS program for military family members who attend the survivor seminars and National programs for the past fifteen years. Martha and Chris Thomas are the co-founders and co-CEOs of The Defensive Line, an organization dedicated to ending youth suicide, especially among young people of color. Inspired by the loss of their daughter, Ella, they channeled their personal tragedy into a mission of hope, connection, and life-saving education.

Martha spent over 20 years as a classroom educator before stepping away in 2022 to lead The Defensive Line’s prevention programming full-time as Chief Education Officer. Her deep understanding of schools and students drives the development of workshops and training that resonate in real-world classrooms. Chris brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the corporate world, known for his warmth, humor, and powerful ability to connect with audiences. His advocacy for equitable mental health care is rooted in lived experience and fueled by an unwavering belief in the power of community.

Together, Martha and Chris have spoken to audiences across the country—from school districts like Dallas ISD and Fort Worth ISD to national stages including the NFL Network, ESPN, CNN, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. They are recipients of the 2019 AFSP Lifesaver Award and serve on multiple mental health-focused boards, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Whether presenting at a healthcare summit or leading a suicide prevention training, they speak with authenticity, vulnerability, and a shared belief that connection is our greatest source of strength. They live in Coppell, Texas with their rescue dog Rebel and are proud parents to Solomon, a professional football player. When not working, they can be found cheering from the sidelines, gardening, running marathons, or tuning in to a good podcast.

Robbie Graham has had a multifaceted career, working in television, printing, and various marketing-related industries. Additionally, he is a Bible teacher and has served as an associate pastor.

Things changed in August 2012 when Robbie lost his stepson, Drey, to suicide. Since then, he has helped his wife, Denise Meine-Graham, start LOSS Community Services in 2014 to bring hope to others who have experienced such a tragedy. LOSS is a charitable nonprofit that provides support for suicide loss survivors and offers suicide prevention education.

Robbie served as a Postvention Coordinator, addressing the marketing and technology needs of LOSS Community Services until 2022. He left LOSS and now collaborates full-time with his wife as a Suicide Postvention Consultant, assisting other communities and states in establishing postvention services.

He is a certified QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Gatekeeper trainer, a certified CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means) trainer, and a How to Tell Your Story trainer. Robbie earned his Death & Grief Studies Certification from the Center for Loss & Life Transition with Dr. Alan Wolfelt. And, he has completed both The Link Support Group Facilitator Training and the AFSP Support Group training. Robbie lives in Columbus, Ohio, with Denise, their two dogs, and a cat.

 

In 2010, Jeff Dill founded Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance (FBHA) and began holding workshops to educate firefighters, dispatchers & EMS members about behavioral health awareness, moral injury and suicide prevention. FBHA also began tracking and validating data on FF, EMS and dispatcher suicides across the United States

Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, is a retired Fire Captain at Palatine Rural Fire Protection District in Inverness, Illinois. He speaks internationally about his work for his brothers and sisters. His message offers hope and inspires all to enjoy life by understanding their own behavioral health.

On July 1st, 2021 Jeff was appointed the new Behavioral Health Administrator for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
