The Our Minds Matter (OMM) program is a student-led mental health initiative designed to empower youth in promoting mental wellness within their schools. The Kim Foundation is implementing this program in four Omaha Public School (OPS) high schools: Benson, Central, Burke, and Westview.
Through OMM, The Kim Foundation’s program specialists help students build connections while learning to navigate mental health. The club focuses on:
- Promoting self-care
- Teaching healthy habits
- Cultivating social connectedness
- Fostering prosocial behaviors
- Coaching help-seeking behaviors
