The Kim Foundation is proud to announce that Mike Veny will serve as our keynote speaker for our annual A Time for Hope & Healing luncheon on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center – La Vista. Mike is a premier thought leader who approaches mental health awareness with a fresh perspective, as he works to transform the stigma that too often exists around the topic. He shares his lived experience and draws from it to provide a message of hope with a musical twist! We may be a bit biased, but we believe this will be unlike any other event that has raised awareness around mental health. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon packed with education, support, and celebration!
The afternoon will also include a more in-depth discussion with Mike during an educational session where you will have the opportunity to hear more of his story and ask questions about his journey and experiences. I think this opportunity will be relevant for anyone who has an interest in mental health whether from a professional standpoint, a family member, advocate, or someone who can relate to Mike’s lived experience. Everyone will definitely take something away from this afternoon!
Again, the luncheon and keynote presentation will take place on October 24 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Embassy La Vista. The educational session is from 1:30pm – 3:00pm. The luncheon is $75 per person or $750 for a table of 10, and the afternoon session is $15 for those who attend the luncheon and $30 for those who aren’t able to. Registration will open on June 12 so watch our website for more details! Corporate sponsorships are still available.
