The Role of Nutrition in Mental Well-Being
The ways in which we choose to fuel our bodies have a striking impact on our mental health. While the link between physical health and diet is very well-established, emerging evidence designates a relationship between nutrition and mental well-being. Involving certain nutrients in one’s diet, promoting healthy gut health, and maintaining a generally health-conscious lifestyle promotes mental wellness.

A Success!
The Kim Foundation, in partnership with several community organizations, hosted the first ever Middle American School Mental Health Conference at the CHI Center on May 29th and 30th, followed by the annual Nebraska School Mental Health Conference on the 31st at Capitol Marriott.
Searching for “Happiness”
I’ve watched nearly every YouTube video, listened to dozens of podcasts, and read a ton of self-help books in an attempt to find the answer to the question, “How do I find happiness?”
A few things I’ve realized from all this research is that happiness will never have one single source. Happiness is multidimensional and should come from finding beauty in the various things around you.
College Life Self-Care
Beginning life as a college student is incredibly exciting. There are opportunities to meet new people, to enroll in classes that are meaningful to you, to begin living more independently, or to pick up hobbies that bring you joy. It can also become overwhelming. It’s difficult to navigate certain changes that frequently accompany college life.
