Big News: New Executive Director!

As The Kim Foundation reaches its 24th year, we are excited to share some important news about our future commitment to suicide prevention and mental health advocacy in the local community. The foundation has undergone a leadership transition, and we want to keep you informed about our growth moving forward.

Molly Verble has taken the role of Executive Director at The Kim Foundation. She brings a background in mental health and nonprofit management, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Marquette University and her Master’s in Education, specializing in Community and School Counseling, from Loyola University-Chicago. She is a graduate of Leadership Evanston, Revela Management Program, LeadDiversity, and the 2024 NAM Nonprofit Executive Institute. Molly is passionate about suicide prevention and equitable access to mental health services and looks forward to advancing the mission of The Kim Foundation in our community. She possesses over twenty years of experience in program development, stewardship, and transformational leadership.

With The Kim Foundation’s evolution into an operating foundation, we are increasingly committed to providing direct programming and training to help prevent suicide and improve mental health access in high-risk communities. We are also dedicated to distributing community grants to support direct service providers through 2026 and addressing Nebraska’s critical shortage of mental health practitioners. Looking ahead to the new year, we are excited about upcoming programming initiatives and partnerships that will continue to prevent suicide and support local mental health needs. We value your collaboration and will keep you informed and involved in our journey. Thank you for your partnership!
