Meet Our Program Specialist

Linda Murillo Kennedy is the Program Specialist at The Kim Foundation. As a former educator with experience in engaging a diverse range of students, she believes that education is empowering.  

Linda has her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education, and has always worked in education through some capacity. After her work with Partnership 4 Kids teaching life skills and conducting case management, she recognized a need to destigmatize conversations and provide resources around mental health for vulnerable and underserved populations.   

As Program Specialist, Linda uses her skills in public speaking and facilitation to contribute to the foundation’s many outreach initiatives, including the Encouraging Hope and Nurturing Resilience trainings. Linda also leads the Youth Advisory Council.  

Outside of work, Linda enjoys a variety of games that include boardgames, video games, and tabletop role-playing games (Dungeons & Dragons). When she and her husband are not hosting friends for such games, she spends time at her piano or with her trumpet.
