ReRuns R Fun

As we bid farewell to summer and welcome cooler weather, Husker football, and changing leaves, we are reminded that the holiday season is just around the corner! If you are looking to begin your Christmas shopping early this year, look no further. ReRuns R Fun in La Vista is the area’s largest children’s consignment store and is open for a limited time only. From gently used clothing, to toys, and more, ReRuns is a great way to shop on a budget while doing some good.

Last month, The Kim Foundation was contacted by the store’s manager who explained that the store promotes a local non-profit during each seasonal sale and asks shoppers to round up their bill for that particular cause. Unfortunately, over the last year the Papillion/La Vista community has been touched by several suicides. This fall they wanted to highlight suicide prevention as their cause. From September 22nd through October 2nd, all shoppers will have an opportunity to round up their total bill to support The Kim Foundation’s news campaign, 13minutes.

13minutes is a public awareness campaign focused on suicide prevention in the Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare service area in Nebraska. Every 13 minutes someone dies by suicide, so we working together to change the statistics, lessen the number of suicides experienced in our community, and save lives. All money raised by ReRuns R Fun for 13minutes/The Kim Foundation, will go towards suicide awareness and prevention programming in the Douglas County/Region 6 Area.
