Welcome to the Team, Linda!

Hello! My name is Linda Murillo Kennedy and I am the Program Specialist at The Kim Foundation. As a former educator with experience in engaging a diverse range of students, I believe that education is empowering.

I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education, and have always worked in education through some capacity.  After working with Partnership 4 Kids teaching life skills and conducting case management, I recognized a need to destigmatize conversations and provide resources around mental health for vulnerable and underserved populations.

As Program Specialist, I facilitate workshops and trainings to contribute to outreach initiatives, various trainings about mental health, and lead the Youth Advisory Council.

Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of games that include boardgames, video games, and tabletop role-playing games (Dungeons & Dragons). When my husband and I are not hosting friends for such games, I spend time at the piano or with my trumpet.
